HAPPY SUMMER!
TRANSFORMATION through the Word is a gift that keeps on giving! Thank you, Jesus!
I know firsthand that we can be transformed through the truths of God. Knowing and believing the WORD OF GOD is how we become STRONG IN THE LORD.
I know my transformation stemmed from seeking God through the Bible. He helped me to understand His truths and they became the truths I lived by. Knowing those truths began setting me free from all of the lies I once believed.
How could we know God’s character without the Word of God?
Matthew 11:29-30 (NAS)
Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”
How would you know:
How would you know that He is always with us without Hebrew 13:6?
How would you know that we are loved by God without John 15?
How would you know that we are to bear fruit without Galatians 5:22-23?
It is not enough to just know God’s truth. We must believe it in our heart as our truth. When His truth becomes the truth that we live by—that is when our lives will be transformed.
Truth + known in heart + lived out = transformed
When I was reading the Word, praying, and applying the Word in my life I experienced daily transformation, even if it was just one new thought that renewed my mind.
Reading the Bible is not a check list but it’s a relationship with God. He loves us and wants to have a relationship with us. We get to know Him through His Word.
The Word of God can equip us with truth to know Him better and know who we are in Him. This becomes the foundation of who we are and how we process life!
Friend, I also know many who struggle to read it and understand it. I once did also. That season was so difficult for me.
