A Prayer, Song and Favorite Tradition

Friend, I am THANKFUL for YOU!

This Thanksgiving I am sharing a prayer, a song, and a link to my favorite Thanksgiving tradition.

First. The morning that I was asking God for direction for this email, I sat down to read my Bible and my journal fell open to a page from last April, to a prayer I had written. When I read it, I prayed it again for myself and then I prayed it for you. I knew I wanted to share it with you! You can pray this prayer for yourself also.

Taken from Colossians 1:9-12

Lord, I pray that You will fill me with the

knowledge of Your will & all spiritual wisdom & understanding,

so that I may walk in a manner worthy of You Lord,

to please You in allrespects,

bearing fruit in every good work,

and increasing in the knowledge of God,

strengthened with all power according to Your glorious might

for the attaining of all steadfastness and patience,

joyfully GIVING THANKS to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in light.

What a prayer, right?

I feel like this prayer covers me as I am maturing in Christ. I love how we are to joyfully give thanks to the Father.

NEXT. I want to share a song that I hope will spark a joyful melody of thankfulness into your heart from Thomas Rhett, called Thank You Lord.

LASTLY. Here is a link to my favorite Thanksgiving tradition:

(Let me know. I would love to hear about it!)

Friend, I hope and pray that you are filled and overflowing with many amazing reasons to joyfully GIVE THANKS today, and always.

We are BLESSED beyond measure by our loving and faithful Father!

Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!

Thankful for you,
