I prayed for YOU today!

I stepped out back and looked into the early morning sky that was slowly brightening. I wanted to help myself wake up by getting some sunlight into my eyes. Although I could not see the sun, I saw its effects.  A beautiful pink color covered the clouds in the distance. Lines of flat pink clouds were embraced by the horizon. It was beautiful!

In that beautiful moment I pondered God’s majesty.  

Have you noticed how late in the year the trees are changing colors? Today as I looked at the changing colors of my yard, I saw bright red leaves along with yellow, brown, orange, and even some that were still holding on to their green.  Looking at the stunning colors, my heart lifted up a praise to God for His magnificent creation, and YET my heart came back to you. I wanted to pray for you, for all of you!!!

I wanted to cover you in prayer today, and that is what I did.

My prayer began with Numbers 6:24-26. I began to ask the Lord to bless you.

Lord bless them and keep them, protect them and make Your face shine on them. Lord be gracious to them. Turn Your face of favor towards them and give them Your peace… the peace that surpasses all understanding. Lord may they walk in a beautiful manner with You, hand in hand, as they embrace Your love for them.

Jesus, keep them close as they “run” through this day or this season. I know life can move so quickly. I thank You, Lord, that You're right there with them as they run. I also pray Father God that you bless the beautiful mundane in each of their lives along with the wonders that cause them to marvel throughout their days. You are present. I pray that You can be seen in and through their daily lives.

Father, I pray for restored relationships and for the mending of broken hearts. Lord, pain is so common in our lives. I pray for each one ... bless them in their relationships, bless them in their homes, bless them in their workplaces, and give them all that they need!!

Equip them to walk out this beautiful, godly life that You have called us to. I thank you for the confidence that we can have in You. I thank You for your Word that reminds us of the good that You can do in any situation. I thank you, Lord God that in all situations you allow us to look up and be lifted up! In Psalm 24:7, we’re told to look up so that we can be lifted up by the King of glory! Thank You Lord that You help us, (24/7) 24 hours a day seven days a week. You meet everyone right where they are. I'm so thankful Lord that You are their ever-present help in their time of need.

I am so thankful that You are our joy. May the joy of the Lord become our strength!

Friends, as I started my day my prayer was for God to bless you. I hope that you feel and know that you are loved, cared for, thought of, prayed for, and seen and known by God.

You are a dearly loved child of God, and I was blessed to pray for you today!
